So the featured Arbonne Product today is the Chocolate Protein Shake mix! This morning for breakfast[as I'm writing] I enjoyed a two egg omelet[1 whole egg, 1 egg white, 1 TBS Bacon bits, Salt and Pepper to taste, and Cinnamon], and Chocolate Protein Shake with Cinnamon and Honey Vanilla Greek yogurt. I'm not what you might call a "Health Nut" but I like many other people want to stay fit and healthy and for me, Arbonne is an easy way to start. For me it starts with the protein shakes[Healthy Eating Habbits!]. I struggle with eating healthy and using the shakes helps me tremendously. Its 20 grams of vegan[no animal products or by products] fill me up and keep me full and because its chocolate it curbs my cravings for sweets, well mostly.
I know many struggle with healthy eating and that is the base for healthy living. Lets face facts, you can exercise, meditate, and calorie count as much as you want if you aren't putting good into your body you are not going to get the best out of it! And while caloric intake is important, the quality of the calories you intake is even more important. Now what I mean by quality is not just referring to weather its just widely considered a "bad" food or a "good" food. What I mean is, for the amount of calories you are in-taking, what nutrients are you getting out of it, what kinds of fat are you getting out of it, and does it really benefit you? Many people think, "If I just cut down sugar intake, and cut down my calories..." and while that can be helpful you still wont reach the level of fitness you potentially could by just cutting out some things. You need to add in healthier options to your diet and make sure you know your foods so you know you are getting all the nutrients you need for a healthy body!
Now lets just talk about calories for a bit. Calories are what your body runs on. Think of it as gas in a car. Now I just moved to Arizona three months ago. I was almost out of gas so I filled up at a shell station. When I looked at the price per gallon I realized I had uses premium instead of regular{still cheaper than Cali!!}. Well anyone who has done this will know, the car runs better on better quality gas! And believe it or not I actually got better gas mileage with the better gasoline. The same goes for food, eat the right stuff and you'll be fuller longer, and you'll have more energy. There is one thing just as imperative as healthy eating; hydration!Staying hydrated is vital to good health! As we all know our bodies are 60% water. Our body fluids are necessary components in digestion, absorption circulation, transportation of nutrients, and maintenance of body temperature. Water also helps maintain healthy looking skin! Who doesn't want that?
All in all we know that staying healthy is important for all of us, but that's defiantly not going to look the same for all of us.Some its simply adjusting your diet, for others its proper diet combined with exercise[that should be all of us but lets face it, I love my couch and TV more than I want a flat tummy].
Hope this food for thought was helpful! Remember google is a great health tool, use it!
Again, Happy Saturday all!
